Full attention brings mother and child into heart coherence, into partnership, and much more.
Pennie Brownlee

You are the MIRROR through which your baby sees their SELF. Your loving attention validates your baby’s BEING.
Your love shapes your child’s
future relationships.
Loved babies will become
loving children and adults.
Liz Maluschnig

At babyBEings we try to promote what Magda Gerber said ….
“Children should be outside most of the time.”
“Babies thrive out of doors. They sleep better, eat better, look better, play better, and learn better. Fresh air both soothes and stimulates. I always tell parents how much more easily they could raise healthy and happy children if they would make outdoor living a regular habit for their babies”
Magda Gerber.

UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL
In class we find that some babies can get upset when others get close to them. They just need our patient and kind reassurance. Using a gentle expression and soothing tone of voice to describe what is happening to them really helps. They don’t need to be rescued. Time and opportunity to practise being with other babies helps them immensely. So does having supportive adults at hand if they need us.

Playing with 2 objects at the same time is a significant step in a child's development of thinking skills. Being able to pay attention to them simultaneously, bringing them close and then touching them together, knocking them together, comparing them, holding them in different ways, letting them go and picking them up again, turning them and discovering all the many ways they move and work, will fascinate babies when they are ready.
